WordPress Developer Needed in Peshawar
We are seeking a WordPress Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress website development, theme customization, plugin setup, responsive design, and website maintenance. You will be responsible for creating, updating, and improving company websites, landing pages, forms, and web pages while ensuring fast performance, clean layout, and a smooth user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using modern development practices.
- Create and update website pages, landing pages, service pages, blog layouts, and career pages.
- Customize WordPress themes according to brand requirements and design guidelines.
- Work with page builders such as Elementor to build professional and responsive layouts.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins based on website needs.
- Fix layout issues, mobile responsiveness problems, plugin conflicts, and frontend bugs.
- Create and manage contact forms, application forms, popups, and basic website automation.
- Improve website speed, performance, SEO structure, and user experience.
- Ensure websites are secure, updated, and properly backed up.
- Coordinate with designers, SEO team, and content team to complete assigned website tasks.
- Test pages on different browsers and devices before publishing.
- Maintain clean website structure and follow best practices for WordPress development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP basics.
- Experience with Elementor, Contact Form 7, Rank Math, WPCode, and common WordPress plugins.
- Ability to customize WordPress themes and build responsive web pages.
- Understanding of website speed optimization and image optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts, theme errors, and layout problems.
- Basic understanding of SEO-friendly website structure.
- Familiarity with hosting panels, domain setup, backups, and WordPress migration is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom post types and custom fields.
- Basic knowledge of WooCommerce.
- Experience with website migration and backup tools such as UpdraftPlus.
- Familiarity with cPanel, Hostinger, Cloudflare, and DNS settings.
- Basic knowledge of security plugins and malware protection.
- Experience creating career pages, service pages, and lead generation forms.
- Knowledge of responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
